A Bit About Our Beginnings

Over two years ago we opened Violet Bleu Gifts. The story began with an old family camp house that we wanted to utilize. In the craziness of life we were juggling family and homes when I realized I needed to get a gift with not enough time to get it done. This is when I thought of how wonderful it may be to share with our community the gift...the gift of time. Fill the home with gifts that people can carefully choose and get on with their very busy schedule.
Since that thought our family has been working to bring customer service where you can not find it in the bigger warehouse stores. We strive to bring quality and unique items that won't break your budget.
I have always loved gift giving. When you let that someone know you care. And our customers enjoy the relaxation of feeling like they are at home and not distracted by lots of stuff. We enjoy talking and helping you find the perfect gift!

Meet Violet Bleu

Our gift shop is in fact not a pet shop. But Violet our little brown eyed girl inspired our name. We adopted her a few years back along with her sister and our older dog Sammy watches over them. They are quite the threesome and full of personality.
Pets give unconditionally and the gift of thoughtfulness is something I know brings a smile to even the grumpiest of faces!

Violets In Bloom

Spring is officially in bloom! Thank goodness for that! All around Violet Bleu we have bunches of violets popping up on the lawn. We are not sure how they got there and this is the first flower ever to grow wild in our fields (beyond those beautiful dandelions) we are hoping that this is a telling sign from the gods above...what it means...mmmm?!
